Welcome everyone to THE ADVERSARY web-site. As we celebrate the arrival of 2010 we also celebrate our 15th year of hosting and producing exclusive extreme metal shows in the Houston community. This year marks our decade and a half of non-stop continuous support for the death and black metal genre / art. This year we will be moving forward by offering all kinds of new discounts, advance ticket options, and special promotional packages available to the public for being such loyal supporters over the years. But first I'd like to give everyone a quick trip down memory lane and and tell you how this all started. The year is 1995 and I had just received my Associates Degree for the Applied Arts in the Music and Video Business. At the time my band, Funeral Rites was emerging from a garage band to a full blown active working band. Within the next 10 years we self produced and distributed our own music. With the the introduction of the world wide web, we were able to achieve international, world wide exposure and success. After a decade of line-up changes and self releases I decided to put the band aside and focus more on strengthening our services with THE ADVERSARY. During this time my wife Jess, who is a professional web-designer and head of marketing / advertising for a business, was able to create and design a user friendly web-site and hasn't stopped since. With her help and hard work we were able to bring bands such as Immersed in Blood, Godless Rising, Internal Suffering, Gigan, VadimVon, Anal Blast, Mortician, Akercoke, Bloodsoaked, Sadistic Intent, and the list goes on and on. Throughout the years we were able to set a standard of smooth running, professional shows which everyone can come to expect when experiencing an "Adversary" event. Our annual highlights include the Easter weekend bash "The Sabbat Fest", the summer show, and the end of the year bash the "ANTI-CHRIST MASS" now going on to it's 13th year this year. This year our goal is to continue bringing extreme metal to the masses in such a smooth and professional manner that is the ADVERSARY PRODUCTIONS way. We will be leading the pack with our new and innovative ways to secure admittance to all of our exclusive extreme metal shows, while guaranteeing an extreme experience.
